Apprenons à nous connaître : bienvenue Alice
- Tell us about your experience as a Translator:
I have had the most experience as a translator in a legal firm where we worked on a banking investigation, but my most recent experience has been as a technical translator in aeronautics.
- What studies did you follow?
I studied for a Bachelors degree in French and Russian, and then did a Masters in French Translation and Interpreting.
- What made you want to join Caupenne et Co.?
I was impressed by the variety of different areas you work in, and I found the idea of working in different areas and broadening my knowledge and experience very stimulating.
- What do you think makes Caupenne et Co. stand out in its field?
Caupenne et Co. seems to me extremely well organised, with the highest regard for standards of professionalism in its work. At the same time, it is not impersonal – project managers all take the time to talk with you about projects you will potentially be set – and very much take your capacities and workloads into account.
- How do you see the market evolving in the next 10 years?
I believe that AI will become increasingly prominent in the next 10 years, although I don’t believe all translation will be ‘done by computers’. I think human intervention will still be required, but to what extent we will have to wait and see!
