2016 – A year rich in colour!
January to March
Following its audit by Bureau Veritas, Caupenne & Co. confirmed, once again, its ISO 9001:2008 certification, further strengthening its quality strategy.
Caupenne & Co. purchases the SDL Trados Groupshare module, allowing the company to share Translation Memories, in real-time, with multiple translators working on a single project.
Working with six translators simultaneously, Caupenne & Co., in just three months, managed the translation of 900,000 words, from French & Russian to English, for the Technical Documentation relating to the sale of French warships.
April to June
To complement our use of SDL Trados, Caupenne & Co. purchases the ‘Across’ CAT software.
Julien Joannon joins our team permanently, further strengthening our project management forces.
Caupenne & Co. is awarded a contract for 1 million words, in four languages, covering the translation of documents covering the takeover of a major player in the energy industry. The work is completed in less than four months.
July to September
Thomas Vuillaumier joins our team in the role of Graphics Designer.
Caupenne & Co. is awarded the tender for the translation of the website of a Research Centre specialising in micro- and nano-technologies.
October to December
With nearly 2 million words translated, October 2016 has officially become the company’s record-breaking month.
Caupenne & Co. continues its commitment to the environment with a “zero paper” objective.
The company moves its head offices to Villeurbanne, in offices designed to handle future expansion.

With its 22 years’ experience, Caupenne & Co. ends its best ever calendar year with a turnover up by 23% and 135 new clients.
